BHUBANESWAR: The members of Odisha Nursing Employees’ Association on Tuesday wore black badges to protest against the Government policies for para-medical staff across the State.
They submitted a 10-point charter of demands in Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s office and threatened to go on an indefinite strike from March 25 if their grievances are not addressed.
The association has demanded inclusion of Revised Assured Career Progress (RACP) in nursing service, regularisation of nurses who have worked for more than six years under National Health Mission (NHM) and increase in salary.
