Delhi Nurses Union along with many other Nurses Associations is organizing Dharna at Jantar Mantar on 26th November, 2014 to protest the New Recruitment rules laid down by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

Changes put forward by the government for new recruitment rules are
1)Age limit not exceeding 30 years ( from 35 to 30)
2) education qualification bsc nursing + 6 months clinical experience in 50 bedded hospital or gnm + two and half year experience in 50 bedded hospital ..that means u r forced to work in a private sector for qualifications 2 apply the post in govt sector. U already know the pathetic condition in private sector now a days it would be worsen if the new RR in action.
3) according to the new RR the total number of vacancies in only four central government hospital in new delhi exactly 2466 (rml_ 840, safdarjung 887, lady hardinge 500, kala wati 239).These post of staff nurses are vacated around many years including the post of CNO and NS.
Now govt is trying 2 fill these post by contract basis that means u have 2 work in same situation and same condition but low salary , no benefits including off, HRA., risk allowance and so on....
This is the high time 2 show our unity and support for a cause.
