Who's mistake it is

During my clinical rounds in the oncology ward, one day a client explained the fallowing story. I will narrate, you need to conclude who's mistake it is till what extent.

Sir since from 6 years I have stomach pain, shown to a local doctor. He gives the drugs which cures for a couple of days then once again the pain will reappear. Few months back doctor gave a some doses of medication cost more than rs 200 each. I asked do you have that prescription client says “sir all the time he used to remove the tablets from the strip, removes labels and gives in a paper cover” I asked why is it so “ the physician believes that if the tablets are in strip we may replace back without completing the course and removing the label so that you people will not have on counter drugs”. One day I had sever pain could not able to tolerate and requested for a radiological test, surprisingly the result was appendicitis and need an urgent surgery. In referred hospital given few injection to dissolve the bulging. All of a sudden one day i got sever pain; doctor told me for surgery and removed the appendix and sent for pathology. The pathology showed the negative report still says to clarify with clinical findings. I am referred to the cancer hospital for further evaluation. Doctor said no need of any treatment for your mental satisfaction you can have 5 rounds of chemotherapy. I (client) agreed. The first cycle finished. I (client) asked now, there is no need to fear know doctor? Oh no just you finished one cycle, next dose will be after some time. I was surprised to hear that it will take around 5 months.
The above narration clearly says:
1.health professional believe they know every thing and never take for further specialist evaluation
2.we do not want the client to know the treatment if so he may do his own care and his income will be reduced.
3.Lack of proper communication, or health professionals giving half the information believing that another half is known to the client.
So friends lets make it clear, whatever health professionals do to client is explained to his level of understanding and taken a prior consent which safe guard us from such blames. If any one of health professional doing so bring to the notice of respective authority so that people belief on the health professionals remain.
